You have 30 days from delivery to return or exchange your order — for any reason, or none.

How. Email info@theproductisthehero.com with your order number. We reply with return instructions (and a prepaid label where applicable).

The first 14 days — your legal right. Within 14 days of delivery you may withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason. You may examine the piece and try it on as you would in a shop: we will not refuse a return because it was tried on, handled, or because the tags were removed. If the piece was handled beyond what is needed to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, we may deduct from the refund the corresponding loss in value (article 14(2) of Decree-Law 24/2014).

From day 15 to day 30 — our own extension. Beyond the legal period we still take the piece back, and here we do ask for it unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with all tags and the original packaging. Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.

Cost of returning. Portugal mainland — free (prepaid label) · Madeira & Azores — €12, deducted from your refund · rest of Europe — you post the piece back to us and we add €12 to your refund to cover the return.

Refunds. Once received and inspected, we refund the original payment method within the legal 14 days (in practice 5–10 business days). The outbound shipping cost is refunded when you withdraw from the entire order within the legal 14-day period; for returns between day 15 and day 30 we refund the items' value.

Exchanges. One exchange per order (size or colour), free replacement shipment. If the replacement is unavailable, we refund instead.

Faulty pieces. Portuguese law gives you a legal guarantee of conformity of 3 years from delivery. It is independent of this returns policy and never limited by it.
